Position Overview

The Site Supervisor (Trainee) will support the Site Supervisor and project management team in coordinating and overseeing daily on-site operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the essentials of site management, including quality control, safety procedures, scheduling, and team coordination. The trainee will be closely mentored by experienced professionals and will gain insights into the construction process from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Site Supervision: Assist in overseeing daily on-site activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Safety Management: Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure adherence to company and industry safety standards.
• Material and Equipment Management: Monitor and track materials and equipment on-site, ensuring availability and proper usage.
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain daily logs, site reports, and other documentation to track project progress and any issues.
• Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure clear communication and efficient collaboration on-site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction processes, site management, and safety regulations.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of construction management software is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Willingness to work in a site environment and ability to adapt to varying working conditions.
