Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.Routine Maintenance:

*Perform preventive maintenance, including routine inspections of solar panels, inverters, and electrical systems.

*Check connections, cables, and other system components for signs of wear, corrosion, or damage.

*Carry out panel washing to remove dirt, debris, or other obstructions that may affect system efficiency and energy generation.

2.Troubleshooting and Repairs:

*Identify and diagnose issues with solar systems, including electrical faults, malfunctioning inverters, or reduced power output.

*Repair or replace faulty components such as inverters, wiring, batteries, or panels to restore system performance.

*Provide on-site troubleshooting and resolution of solar power-related issues in a timely manner.

3.Panel Washing:

*Perform regular washing of solar panels, ensuring they are free from dirt, dust, and environmental debris that may impair their performance.

*Use appropriate cleaning tools and methods to maintain panel longevity and optimal functionality.

*Ensure that panel cleaning is done safely and without causing damage to the panels.

4.System Monitoring and Performance:

*Monitor solar system performance using diagnostic tools or software to ensure systems are operating at peak efficiency.

*Identify any performance discrepancies and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.

5.Customer Interaction:

*Provide customer support, answering questions and offering technical assistance regarding solar system operation and maintenance.

*Educate customers on proper usage and maintenance of their solar systems to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency.

*Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely, professional service and solutions.

6.Safety and Compliance:

*Follow all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment while performing          maintenance, or repairs.

*Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, environmental regulations, and other relevant standards.

7.Documentation and Reporting:

*Maintain accurate records of all service calls, repairs, maintenance tasks, and inspections performed.

*Document any system malfunctions or service requests and report findings to the supervisor or manager.

*Provide customers with reports on system performance, maintenance completed, and any recommendations for system upgrades.

8.Inventory Management:

*Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and cleaning materials for solar system servicing and panel washing.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

1.Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

2.Technical Skills:

*Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, electrical components, and wiring.

*Ability to perform panel cleaning and maintenance effectively, using the right tools and methods.

*Basic understanding of solar system monitoring and performance analysis.

3.Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills for identifying and fixing system issues.

4.Communication: Good communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear explanations of system issues and maintenance needs.

5.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual tasks, including working at heights and carrying equipment.
