Social Enterprises and Inclusion Department, K-DISC
The Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) invites applications from MBA, postgraduate students including MCJ/Journalism or related for an internship position supporting the implementation of the STRIDE initiative under the Social Enterprises and Inclusion Department. The internship offers exposure to project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and documentation processes within a major state-level social innovation program.

Position Overview
The Project Management Intern will support the Program Manager and coordinating team in organizing and executing tasks related to low-tech assistive device development and associated outreach activities. This role involves assisting in day-to-day project coordination, maintaining documentation, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting event execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination
Support the STRIDE Manager in coordinating with internal teams and interns
- Track project milestones and maintain schedules
- Assist in resource planning and documentation
- Support the monitoring of progress and reporting
2. Documentation & Reporting
- Help prepare internal documents, reports, and presentations
- Maintain updated records of project activities
- Assist in drafting case studies and success stories
- Support the preparation of impact assessment reports
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist in coordinating communication with institutional partners and community stakeholders
- Help schedule meetings and maintain follow-ups with relevant teams
4. Event Support
- Assist in the organization of events, workshops, and showcase activities
- Provide logistical support and coordination during events
- Help document outcomes and feedback from events
5. Research Support
- Conduct background research on assistive technologies and inclusive design
- Help prepare summaries and reference documents
- Contribute to benchmarking and best practices research
Required Qualifications
- MBA or postgraduate student in:

Operations / Project Management
- Social Enterprise / Development
- Or related fields
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with MS Office and digital tools
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in social or community-based projects
- Exposure to event or program coordination
- Understanding of disability inclusion or assistive tech is a plus
