Course Overview
The maximum gross weight for UAS in the small category is between 2 kg and 25 kg. This course is an intensive 5-day scenario-based, hands-on and precision flight training aimed at improving pilot skills and preparing students to operate a small UAS in all conditions. . Students can familiarize themselves with the required equipment. Tools and procedures to ensure her UAS training program in the small category meets the intended mission set.

The Small Category Drone Pilot Training is a comprehensive program designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate small category drones safely and in compliance with regulations set by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). This 30-hour training program offers a blend of theoretical learning and hands-on practical sessions, providing aspiring drone pilots with a solid foundation for responsible and legal drone operation.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: Understand the basic principles of flight and rotorcraft operations. Identify and understand weather and meteorological factors that affect drone flight. Properly maintain and care for drone equipment. Install and utilize payloads on drones.
