Panchakarma is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves a series of detoxification and rejuvenation procedures aimed at restoring balance and promoting overall health and well-being. Panchakarma, which translates to "five actions" in Sanskrit, refers to a set of therapeutic interventions designed to cleanse and purify the body, mind, and spirit.
A Panchakarma therapist is responsible for administering the various Panchakarma procedures to clients. They perform treatments such as Abhyanga (Ayurvedic massage), Swedana (herbal steam therapy), Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and other detoxification therapies according to the specific needs of each individual.
